As a makeup-loving maniac, I am always on the lookout for new and exciting ways to use products as something other than what they were actually intended for. :-D I vaguely remember trying to use some eyeshadow as lip color as a teen to achieve a specific desired effect, lol. That being said, let's get down to the business of today's topic...
...kohl eyeliners and/or jumbo eye pencils...
...which I am fond of using as shadesticks. I got on some type of shadestick kick this past Friday and was roaming around town to different cosmetics stores scouting these out before the girls and I met up at Panache. I first went to MAC, and I was very disappointed with their selection...they had like five...apparently, they are phasing them out. Then I went to Sephora, and was stunned when I asked two sales associates if they had any, and neither of them knew what they were. Um...word to the wise...maybe you shouldn't be working in a cosmetic store if you don't know what the heck a shadestick is, LOL. Anyway, I got eight of them in varying shades of matte and metallic grays and silvers, lilacs and a pretty dark blue one. They are truly magnifico for lining both upper and lower lashlines, are incredibly easy to smudge for a sultry, sexy, smoky-eye look, and can be applied alone as shadow or underneath powder eyeshadow to intensify your look! Oh and by the way, Panache was fantastic!
